saw some people setting this carnival up and the sun was glaring and I realized, THIS is the shot for the breaking the rules challenge. It also makes me think of my mom. And the song by Tim McGraw. I added a couple textures from picmonkey and did a cross process and I LOVE this... I'm very proud of the end result and I think this might be my favorite shot of mine since I started 365 (which of course probably means no one will fav it and everyone will hate it LOL)
Definitely best viewed large if you get the chance

Wow, that is such creative processiing Jeff. It's just fabulous! I know what you mean though about how sometimes you think you've done just ok and everyone loves it and other times YOU love it but everyone else is a bit less excited. I think you've got the winning combination on this one though! Congratulations!

Hello Jeff. I am new here at 365 and happened to come across this photo which I absolutely love! I lean towards vintage, historical subject matter. I am here to learn. I think I could learn alot from you. Your photography is very impressive. This is going to be one of my first few favs! :)

@paulaag thanks Paula! I'm now questioning if the email alert from Pinterest was accurate though. Marcia was right there and saw it when I got it that showed how many times it had been liked and repinned, but when I got home and checked it on the laptop at the actual Pinterest site, I couldn't find anything to show how many times it had been repinned other than by my actual followers.... I also figured I'd see it all over when just doing a general browse if it had been repinned that many times....if the email was correct, it would be nice to see that on my profile when I log in. Either way, it still got the most likes of the photos I have pinned and was repinned the most, even if the email had a typo (like maybe it was really 362 instead of 3620)
