@amandal the sunlight is behind the house... the fogginess is the mist from the rain, so the creepy goodness is thanks to nature and shooting from the right angle at the right time. what I did in post was mainly making it smoother and softer
@m9f9l i know, right? I kept staring at the place initially, trying to decide if it was vacant or not because of the lawn. I think the creepiest part is the back door being open.
@jsw0109@m9f9l LOL... and Mary... there was this murder in, I think it was Adelaide or NSW (can't remember now) where they did for real, in real life... HIDE THE BODIES IN BARRELS LIKE THAT!!!
@ozziehoffy Well I read about it on wiki, which also referenced the movie that Jeff mentions. And although Snowtown is where the barrels ended up...apparently most of the murders happened elsewhere.
I watched a documentary about the Snowtown Murders - I watch a lot of those kinds of programs, both fiction and non-fiction - It really unnerved me and I hope the ring leader never gets released - he is way scarier than Jeff's house looks :)
This is so awesome - I love the contrast between the building and it's surroundings - great atmosphere - I would love to explore it - true horror usually masquerades as normality though! - I remember the bodies in the barrels - and the house(s) involved looked just like their neighbors and no-one suspected anything out of the ordinary!
@jsw0109 hmm I've heard of that.
