My son loves men. That sounds like an odd declaration to make about a fifteen-month old, but it’s something intrinsic to his being: my son really likes the male presence. In particular, he really loves being around men he’s related to. Whether it is his older brother, his step-grandfather (the Grand P) or his uncle Victor Manuel, my son has an incredible bond with the male persona. I love the affection he shows these men, whether it is his Abuelo, or primo Pablo. It’s beautiful, and I am wholly about this beauty because he seems to learn a tremendous amount from all of these men, and all of these men are really, really great people.
