A quarter-operated firetruck on a recent night out gave Diego quite a treat despite some startlingly cold weather. He’s just getting over his long-term cough, so perhaps this wasn’t the wisest thing to allow him to do. That said, his enthusiasm for the “wee-wooo, wee-wooo” truck is not something I’m willing to compromise. His joy is my own and his strength and immune system, I’m confident, will win out over these seemingly endless illnesses!
