More often than not, our mornings are chaotic and rushed. Still, we do manage to at least settle down for five minutes to share coffee and a little breakfast snack. Sometimes it’s croissants, sometimes it’s muffins and often it’s these Maria cookies, better known as galletas. They’re basically round animal crackers that Spaniards like to dip into their morning cafe. Carmen loves them, as does our son. Here, he’s about to feed her a dipped galleta and she seems pleased and ready.
