He’s right behind me, isn’t he?

Sundays are often adventure days for Diego, his mom and I and this one was no exception. Partially due to his need for a nap in the car, we drove about half-an-hour past home to a shopping block in a town just outside of Boston that has changed remarkably over the past fifteen years. An example of the change? Since the time that I worked in the area, the desolate, industrial-looking zone that bordered the rather dreary waterway and offered a view of a fairly distant power plant is now a thriving mini-metropolis at the center of which is a LEGO Discovery Zone! While we didn’t go inside today - perhaps scared off in part by two exiting children in full trantrum mode - I did catch this funny shot of Diego with the Duplo-made giraffe mascot behind him. It reminds me of one of those parts of dumb movies where a protagonists talk smack about someone and then realize the person being talked about is likely right behind them.
