Aquilegia by judithdeacon

Aquilegia

The garden is steadily beginning to be restored to more of a garden than a wildlife meadow - not that I wouldn't quite like a wildlife meadow but it would have to be one or the other. Fortunately, there is an abundance of Aquilegia which wave in the wind like a sea of froth - love them.

So beautiful!! I have tried many times to grow aquilegia and failed. I even bought some very expensive seeds when I went to the Chelsea Flower show a few years ago. My friends used to save the seeds for me from their gardens where the flowers came back every year. Still no aquilegia flowers!! Fav for your beautiful specimen!

@pamknowler what a shame, they literally grow like weeds in our garden, I've just spent the afternoon pulling them out of the vegetabvle beds!
