I read somewhere that you should spike it with a cocktail stick and balance the stick across the top of the glass ~ I haven't tried yet so not sure if it works ~ nice shot

Lovely shot, I filled the glass up with ice cubes when I did this shot, it worked pretty well, take a look at 22.01.12, hope that helps.

Love those bubbles Judith, a crop to take away the sides of the glass would work well. Great attempt which I must try soon.

Great shot! I tried something similar last month, and found getting the bubbles sharp through the curved glass the hardest part! Well done, looks fantastic!

is this in soda water? i want to try this too
March 5th, 2013
@abhijit Yes, or maybe tonic, can't remember! Let me know if you find a way of keeping the lemon at the bottom of the glass, I eventually put a skewer through and then photoshopped it out but I'm sure there must be a simpler trick!

Nicely done!!
March 5th, 2013
ah, love a good G&T...great shot
March 5th, 2013
Nicely done Judith! One thing you might try is take a small piece of tape and roll it in a small tube sticky side out. Dry the bottom of the lemon rind and stick the tape to the rind. Then stick the lemon to the bottom of the glass. Then slowly pour in the water. I don't know how long it will remain stuck, but you should be able to get a few shots.

@skipt07 I'll give that a go, thanks. I was dropping the lemon into the tonic, but setting the lemon up first might be the way to go!
