MUM

It's amazing how many e-mails I've had encouraging me to make Mothering Sunday purchases that don't actually mention what day it is. I looked it up on my calendar in the end. Nipped into town sans dog today as I had shopping to do. Weirdly when I go shopping I hardly take any photos even though, in principle, it should be easier without the dog in tow. This was my third and final shot. It's a nice shop - I might print this out and leave it prominently around. In other news the portfolio is ready to go and my floor is sticky again...
A new name In shops for me but looks rather nice, I wouldn't turn up my nose at anything from there! A Lakeland opposite too! That bike goes from shop to shop I think!!
Great feeling for Adam to get all finished!

I had to google Oliver Bonas. Wish they were located in the US...they have some really cute things. Love the Cambridge bike propped out front! And good for Adam for finishing up his project!

How sweet! And that man rushing by, ignoring it really adds a special touch. Mother's Day seems to be different in different countries anyway. I think it's in May in Germany but I forgot. Maybe some day my daughters will remember for me ;).

@jannaellen Hmm - in my case it seems to be that you have to remember for your mum and your husband's mum and you have to hope that somebody will prod your son quite hard for you. You stand a better chance of not being ignored because you have daughters!

@judithg : Yeah but at least one of them is such a daddy's girl that I can't even pour her milk without hearing "No, daddy must do it"...

That sort of hint would be far too subtle for my lot.

Lovely capture. Mother's Day always makes me feel very sad even tho it is 15 years since my mum died, no point in buying her anything now
