I was standing under an overhang opposite Trinity Hall just as a hailstorm started and sadly just missed a romantic scene going on across the road - instead I got caught with my camera out and had to pretend to take various other nearby photo ops! In the end it was a cloud that I was watching recede into the distance that scuppered the walk - a big clap of thunder emerged from it and Monty stuck his tail between his legs and set off apace for the car. No doubt he's added Cambridge to the ever growing list of places he won't walk!
Excellent shot for the theme. When I saw the weekly theme was going to be bicycles, I instantly thought of you. You always take wonderful bicycles shots.
I love that she is making eye contact with the camera. He is focused on her but her distraction at being photographed shows. Makes for a really interesting dynamic in the photo. I think it is better than if they were both unaware. Very nice!
I agree with Judith above, I love the fact she has clocked you. I can just imagine you then pretending to take pictures of the colleges and surroundings. A fav, wonderful shot
nice candid and colour looks good for your streetie
a snuggle and hug with a hot cup of coffee might be quite dangerous , especially when clocking a "discreet" 365'er across the road :)
Love that sideways look at you the stalker! I would be all of a dither if I was caught like that specially when they were having a smooch! Wonderful picture it's made !
