Adam pointed out that the pond was full of almost invisible frogs so I nipped inside for my camera. You have to sneak up or they all disappear underneath together. Some good garden jobs done today - my greenhouse is full now so some of the little plants I've grown from seed will have to be planted outside soon - it will avoid the worry of frying them when the sun eventually comes out anyway.
We walked Monty around Cambourne, got lost and had a great opportunity to take a goldfinch on a fence and a reed bunting in his breeding colours - but I didn't take my camera because I'd already taken a frog...
Love that head peeping out........this must be your pond then........I haven't a pond so you score on that front.....I think I might like a pond rather than a linen room!! That will sound an odd thing to say for anyone not in the know! I would love to see frogspawn & frogs!
I love to hear the croak of frogs in the night from a pond! Tried for ages to create ponds for frogs but the birds got them - kingfishers love them! They seem to be very wary - the slightest movement they see and pop! So good shot!
