It was chucking it down this morning so I decided it was a good day to test out the tranquillisers the vet has given me for Monty for when the fireworks start in May Week. He was flaked out all morning but often is anyway so it's hard to tell if they'll work (and he still jumped up and stole the post). By afternoon both weather and dog were brighter but we still had to sit in the car for 10 minutes waiting for the rain to move on. We had a successful walk by the river in Milton so may be Monty was feeling relaxed - we will be steering well clear the week after next when the Bumps start. Rachel arrived home safely - she didn't leave till later in the afternoon - sounds like it was a good night last night celebrating the end of exams!
