Double basket etc spotted on King's Street as I cycled between different areas of town. Apologies for the lack of activity this weekend. On Thursday Nigel went up to his dad's ahead of their walk up Ben Nevis in aid of Alzheimer's Research on Saturday. I went in search of some new bedding. I think I had the harder job! We keep talking about buying a bigger bed so I haven't bought any new bedding in a while - but as we don't seem to get round to the new bed I decided that something needed to be done. So I ended up cycling/walking all round town trying to find something that would go with our bedroom curtains. In the end I went back to the first shop and decided that new curtains were in order...
Definitely - the bed comes first and the curtains second! I was re-editing my mother's journal of her trip through England in 1929 and noticed that she remarked on the bikes in Cambridge all having baskets on! Nothing changes!
