I've just read an interesting article which says if a group of lions is a 'pride' than a group of trophy hunters should be a 'shame'. I cannot understand what pleasure you could glean from killing a lion. You could buy amazing camera equipment for $50K dollars, enjoy the tracking and chasing and harm nothing.
@humphreyhippo@rosiekind They should have to have equal weapons - give the hunters big 'claw' gloves and see how they get on. I'm really not in to 'internet shaming' but this time it's well deserved - the man has also killed a white rhino amongst others.
My other half says that all people are a **** unless proven otherwise. I am beginning to come around to his way of thinking! I love your pride and shame snippet, I will remember that. This by the way, rambling aside, is a gorgeous photo. Really pops out the page! Hope you and yours are well :-)
I could not agree more with the sentiment. It breaks my heart to see these amazing, majestic animals becoming extinct in the hands of these a**holes!! FAV for this capture of a wonderful feline!

I quite agree - no excuse for killing a lion when you can take the most awesome photo's of them.
