The Secret Garden

O the corner of Free School Lane and Botolph Lane there is a very high wall and I have never known what is behind it. It turns out it is the Master's Garden of Corpus Christi College and I jumped at the chance to go to see outdoor Shakespeare there, as much as a chance to see the garden as the play. As it turned out the play (Much Ado About Nothing by The Globe touring company) was brilliant. Beatrice and Benedick were very entertaining and the audience which ranged in age from newborn to very elderly was thoroughly entertained. I learned from my trip to the Festival with Adam that you get closer on blankets at the front and it turned out that Nigel and I are still young enough to cope on a couple of cushions!
nice shot, wonderful background buildings

@lynnz I should have pointed out - a quick iPhone shot - cameras definitely not allowed during the performance so I didn't dare take it.

What a great opportunity, nothing like a live performance. Good capture of the event and the backdrop.

I couldn't choose a blanket but would prefer a chair and a cushion! Nice to see this and being well entertained!

This must have been so much fun.... so love exploring new places, especially when they are not ordinarily open to the public!
