I met Molly @dolphin for coffee and teacakes this morning and very splendid it was too. Always a lovely way to spend some time. Afterwards I headed to King's Parade as I'd had a tip off via FB that filming for 'Granchester' has resumed in Cambridge. They are normally out early before the crowds arrive so I was really pleased to find a road block indicating that filming was actually underway. These extras were clearly getting fed up with the wait though Senate House Passage was absolutely full of them. I did manage a couple of shots along there as I inadvertently barged in to the action - didn't get far but snuck in a couple of quick shots.
Not all glamour bring a film star then! Lovely capture if the waiting actors in their fantastic period costumes.....exciting stuff filming ! They have been filming a movie in Blackpool but I have no idea what it's about.
An unusual scene for King's Parade. My sieve head is such that I'd forgotten you'd mentioned this and didn't even think of heading up there with my phone.
