I went through to the back of St John's at lunchtime to catch the Virginia creeper before it all falls off. As I went through I spotted a barge on the river - never seen one going through the colleges before though they are allowed in winter. I will probably post a photo of that another day but meanwhile I thought this one sums up the season perfectly - autumn = new students.
Gorgeous on black Judith ...Fave too. Virginia creeper is so lovely, wish our was VC instead of common old Ivy. Oh to be young & learning stuff in that inspiring place!
