Very nice lunch in Bill's which I've been boycotting over a report that they don't pass on tips but the waiter was very happy about their system even though I didn't quite understand what happens with their 'optional service charge' as opposed to cash tips. Whatever - they have improved their coffee.

Yes the coffee is very good , whilst we were at Helens we went for lunch at Bills. next time we visit it would be nice to catch up with you

And yes I love Bill's...wasn't aware of the tip system. I always try pay tips in cash so it goes to them but maybe they go and put it in a tin to share out. I hope not...!
