A beautiful day so it was good to get out with Monty especially as I will be busy indoors for the next couple of days. Monty was at the end of a long lead having a drink from the bottom of the punt ramp while I took this and I took advantage of the downward slope to get a lower angle. She was with a grown up cygnet when we approached and I was pondering about whether they have new cygnets every year or if it was a two year thing, when she gave him a good pecking and chased him into the river. I took that to mean it's time he fended himself so she can think about the next lot!
