I walked into town because I needed to do some incredibly boring shopping (hoover bags amongst other things) and although my fingers had hovered over Amazon I resolved to support physical shops. It feels like ages since I ventured in and the wisteria is out in all its glory all over the town - this one is always a favourite because it actually spreads across about 5 cottages and is a bit of a community effort.
Weather: windy, sunny, wet
Covid: collected some more lateral flow tests - needed for the Community Fridge and very useful for visiting/being visited. Was actually asked for a reason this time though I’m not sure you need a reason.
Good thing: dad arrived at the care home in time for lunch - waiting for feedback from my sister.
Wisteria is looking gorgeous here but I’m always amazed at how you always manage to have a nice bike just in the right place! Not a horrid racing bike but a proper one usually with a basket! Lovely news about dad arriving for his lunch....do hope he settles in well!
@fueast@happypat@julzmaioro I had just reluctantly walked past a bike with fantastic peonies on the basket but it was propped up against a bin outside the Co-op and there was definitely no good angle - this was a gift and even Adam got his phone out while simultaneously telling e it was too obvious!
@phil_howcroft I dithered and dithered over a landscape shot or this - I kept this because of more bike impact- removing the sky made it square which I wasn’t mad on though it’ll probably appear on Instagram!
have you thought about cropping out the sky and roof for a more high impact shot
