Coffee with Kings

I took lots of photos today but I'm not really inspired by any of them. This morning I headed to town with a view to taking the golden grasshopper clock at Corpus (it was a dull morning and I thought I might avoid reflections on the glass protecting the clock). As I arrived at Kings Parade the sky brightened up and I realised that there were stunning reflections of Kings College in all the shop windows. The resulting photos are complicated mixtures of reflections and the shop contents and I'm not really sure what worked best (if anything at all). In the end I picked this one, the window of the Copper Kettle Coffee shop, because the man with the white mug was getting increasingly agitated by me taking the photos!! Maybe I should just have turned round and taken the original building!
The building does look amazing even in the reflections - it's funny how agitated people do get at even the hint of being included in someone's pic - what do they think we're going to do with them ... ?

Use them to extort huge sums of blackmail money from them cos they shouldn't be there Isla. This is inspired Judith, a lovely idea, beautifully executed.

@islawight @mole Perhaps it's a secret meeting - in the window of a shop on a busy tourist street - I don't supposed he realised he was actually sitting in Kings gatehouse!

Excellent shot, nice combination of see-through and reflection.

This turned out really well!
Pity about that man getting agitated but his white mug does provide a nice detail in this shot :)
