After yesterday's essentially grey offering I thought I would go with some colour. Another picture from yesterday, taken in King's College Chapel. It's pretty impossible not to be wowed by King's Chapel especially when it's bathed in a golden light like it was yesterday. My favourite thing (apart from the singing) is always the colour that is cast on to the stone window frames from the stained glass windows (and the lovely smell - bring on smellytography...). The main chapel has enormous, spectacular windows but I took this in one of the beautiful, serene little side chapels where the windows are lower down and I could get a sharper picture - I think these shots look like they've got camera shake already - they don't need any adding!
@peggysirk It's a pleasure - I love your photos and my old school friend lives in Mathews so it's nice to see a bit of NC. We visited her in the summer but it was at the peak of the heat wave so we didn't get too much sight-seeing done. Be nice to have a bit of that warmth in January tho'!
