I couldn't resist this lovely watering can sitting on top of a boat at Jesus Lock at lunchtime. It was a bit of a rush shot as we were being dived on by a young dog and I wasn't sure if Monty would decided to exert his authority (and then the owner said, 'she bites' which made me rush even more!!). Anyway - I've gone for a bit of cross-processing which really brings out the highlights but I don't know if I'm going processing mad now. I loved the original before I cross-processed - should I be trying for natural shots or going with the bit of shezazzle????
Thanks for all your lovely comments on yesterday's shot - I'm off to photography class tonight :0) so it may be tomorrow before I catch up on commenting.
I love this shot, the greens look very fresh ! I don't think you could improve ! Enjoy your class, I go to my first on Thursday ! I think you should go to a more advanced one than me, mine is for beginners !!!
I'd say go with shezazzle every time! Hope the photography course goes well - I'm hoping you'll pass on all the tips to me so I can pretend I'm going to it as well!
I am an old fart and like traditional fly by the pants instant shots, but remember in that obscure hour of 4am when the demons are legging it out of your dreams..this is after all your 365 so goeth...and yes i do like this shot.
I really like the colours here. It's a great shot! I would say keep the variety going - some with a bit of proecessing, some SOOC. I try something different everyday and find it really keeps me on my toes.
To edit or not to edit - that's the question isn't it? This looks fine cross-processed, sometimes that technique brings out something extra in a photo.
BTW you can buy those tin watering cans in Wilkinsons :) At a decent price too I expect
