There's been an unusual event today - I took a few landscape pics and I actually like them! I went up on the Gog Magog hills with Monty - a possibly foolhardy venture as it was so windy but the trees up there are well managed - it's the ones around town that are losing branches left, right and centre. Anyway - it was the mixture of sun and cloud that made me like the landscape shots. Hope our Northern friends don't get too much of a battering.

Oh stunning Judith, dark skies, lines of golden straw stubble & the distant telephone lines make this a fabulous shot ! You do seem to have a very open spaced landscape but that lone tree really stands out !! It's blowing a gale here tonight & pots & tubs of trees have all had to be moved to safety !
