I don't know if this works or not - I feel as though I've looked at too many photos and bamboozled myself. Also it feels a bit similar to yesterday's shot but the low sun we have at the moment is creating strong contrasts everywhere. The river was busy this morning with rowers, skullers & canoeists. I quite fancy a go in an eight but if you get tired you can't stop so maybe a canoe is safer for me! I went and checked up on the hornets as I read up on them and any time now they will be mating and then only the fertilised females will survive. They were buzzing around a lot more today and when Monty started barking I cleared off smartish!
Wonderful silhouette with a bit of action too. I also get myself in a knot with too many photos sometimes, I can't see what's nice or not and have to ask for a 2nd opinion. So glad it's not just me!
This definatly works Judith !! those sparkly lights are so pretty ,just like stars, some even have a bit of flare !!!! The guys silhouette stands out well too & he has his paddle in a nice raised outline !! If it was me I would keep of the water altogether !!! A canoe sounds even worse..far too wobbly !!

ah thanks @judithg@phil_howcroft ....what a lovely shot - certainly could do with some tranquility at the mo...or maybe some tranquilisers would be more appropriate!! Great sparkles in this Judith :o)
