Rachel and I cycled off to the market this afternoon to collect some pumpkins for carving. I had in my head a 'pumpkins in cycle basket - Halloween in Cambridge' photo but by chance we walked past Christ's College and this little chap was screaming at me. Not only did they have pumpkins all around their pristine circular lawn for a carving competition (and in the Master's Lodge window) but, incredibly, they were actually open so I didn't have to slink in. AND to top it off choir practice was in full swing and my wander around the pumpkins was accompanied by music from the heavens.

It's the way you tell them, Judith; you paint a great picture in words ... and there's poetry in that photo, too if you'll pardon the mythed metaphors!
great shot and lovely focus - very Halloween based. That shot of Chelmsford Cathedral had organ practice going on in the background - it really makes the day so much sweeter, doesn't it?
