I found a new walk yesterday starting in Elmdon - a quite beautiful village that I've never been to before near Saffron Walden. The sun was dazzling on the way over, low and reflecting off roads, so I was driving in sunglasses. Unfortunately I left my normal specs in the car and as the sunshine rapidly disappeared I had to walk through diminishing light in sunglasses or general fuzziness!! There was much more evidence of snow out there than at home. This was taken in the last half mile of the walk - I'd have liked to get more of the tree trunk in silhouette but a sturdy fence to keep the beautiful horses safe in the paddock meant my options were limited.
Beautiful. The tree silhouette is stunning and the light behind it really makes it. I just had this fantasy of how fun it would be to travel the world hooking up with other 365ers and going on photos hoots on their favorite trails
That is one of the main things I have noticed about doing 365 ...the beauty of trees especially bare branches against the sky so you can see all the tracery as this photo shows !
Well, this answers my question concerning snow in your Cambridge shot. What a gorgeous shot this is. The strip of fading sunlight on the horizon gives this a perfect end of day feel. Beautiful!
