I've chosen this title partly to remind me what day we're on - with the study leave/exams I'm pretty confused. Thanks so much for the response to my cow in the cow parsley. The herd was blocking the path and I ummed and aahhed about going through the field with the dog even though I really wanted a cow-cow parsley combo (it's the problem with choosing your title before you've got the shot!) However, the cows that are stationed around town are a docile breed and I found I could divert off the path and put a good stretch of cow parsley between canine and bovine. I had loads of stuff to do today (some of which couldn't start until Adam was safely on the bus to his exam) so it was a bit later than usual when Monty and I hit our walk and, bingo, the Heavens opened again. Luckily it didn't last long but there were a lot of wry looks passing between dog walkers in our winter coats...
Three good things:
1. An exam (English Language) with a bizarre marking scheme so it's impossible to declare it a disaster at this stage - hurrah! (And it didn't throw any complete surprises :0) )
2. Progress with Rachel's bedroom (but I've just realised I've forgotten to buy skirting board - drat!)
3. Book Club later - be nice to get out and everybody else's kids are too old for GCSEs so we can put some other part of the world to rights...
Miserable day yesterday. This captures the rain beautifully. Monty must be extremely patient (2.11pm) ours would have eaten us if they're not out by 9am :)
Aaah, those April showers...hold on, it's May now though isn't it!? Love the processing. My sympathies re. GCSE exam headaches. Youngest son is doing his AS levels and is hoping to get an interview for one of the colleges at Cambridge so has realised he now has to pull his finger out and is actually doing some revision. Wonders will never cease ;o) xx
that's some serious rain judith....love the post processed sepia colours.....gr8 to see a dog too ...although it's tail would be better at 45 degrees :)
