@sparkle, @happypat and myself on a 365 pilgrimage to Brick Lane. I managed to find a spot where I employed Adam to be a loitering 'yoof' a couple of years ago and Pat merrily filled in for him. A couple of friendly passing ladies offered to take a photo of all of us so we jumped at the chance. She chopped our feet off but then I seem to remember chopping Adam's off - and I inadvertently gave them very poor directions to Spittalfields Market by way of repaying the favour :0( We, however, had a completely fab time and we'll definitely be doing it again - thanks ladies!
Three good things:
1. Getting excited as our trains all converged on The Smoke.
2. Loads of friendly people on Brick Lane
3. Converting virtual friendships into proper meet ups. Interestingly all the 365ers I've met have been pretty much how I expected them to be - we tell a lot about ourselves with our photos and our diaries.
Wow girls we do look rather good don't we........a great memory of a happy day forging new friendships & taking some interesting photos too. I so easily recognised @sparkle from the back but you were both exactly how I expected you to be!! Thanks to you both for a look at London through new eyes!
Yay looks like a great day and don't you all look cool. Its funny how things turn out when you meet people in person. should I reveal that you weren't exactly as I expected you to be... ( not in a bad way at all btw). I'm coming to London in June. Will let you know in case you're free.
@happypat We do look good - I've got a lovely one of you by yourself as well - will send it to you! @fueast Oh dear - I wasn't - depends what impression I've been giving on here I suppose! Yep - let me know when you're down.
Good to see you on your day out and chopping off your feet is better than chopping off your heads! Interesting to read 3 because that is what I would have imagined.
Hey, that sounds like a great day.... ! If you do a London meet up I'd be up for that, am only in Essex (will try not to be too common...!) lovely photo of you all as a reminder of the day!
So lovely to see a pic of you all, and nice to see a bit more of you. If you have room for one more on your next visit give me a shout, or not, your choice!
@jo13 LOL - we discussed it for next time over Pimms by the Tower Bridge!! Went small this time - easier to fix a date & easy to wander round without worrying what we were doing!
@judithg Perfectly understand, but I'm definitely up for a Pimms or coffer for a first meet, if you fancy it next time, actually I might be coming to Cambridge in the near future?
@happypat@sparkle .... fantastic pic judith ....3 experienced 365'ers (i was going to say old 365'ers ...as in been on 365 for a while ...but old seemed inappropriate).... nice to see 3 of my 'friends / followers' having a good meet...nice how you are arranged in height order too :)
Love this happy portrait!! What fun you must have had!! I totally missed the news of this meet up until I read something about it on @happypat Pat's post today. Would have loved to have been a tag along on your 365 day in London!
