Duckling bottoms by judithg

Duckling bottoms

The Dept of Criminology has acquired ducklings since @jannaellen and I visited the gnome. I was too shy to go and turn the ducklings the right way round so you have bottoms. Contemplated 'rescuing' one and taking it to @lucypics for safe keeping :0)
3GT
1. A well-earned afternoon off for Adam
2. They don't ask questions about clock-reading in GCSE maths or Adam would have failed - luckily he was an hour out in the right direction and ended up with a hour to check the answers!
3. Kids who know sign language.
Quirky shot! (and quacky)

I love all those coloured pebbles in the foreground. I bet you set this one up yourself! You did, didn't you!! Ha Ha!

Like the pebbles in the water.

@busylady I only wish my creativity ran to such things - I'm struggling to get the camera out at the moment! I'm planning a local 365 coffee gathering with Laura so I'll let you both know when we have some times and dates to chose from. @tishpics

Yes those pebbles are fantastic, almost like fish really, I am beginning to think the Dept of Criminology has a great sense of humour!!

Wonderful dof on the pebbles. Love their colors and your sense of humor

Killer DA's - shame that haircut went out of fashion. I wish as was so advanced in my marking schedule as Adam...

Love that addition - wish they had it when I was still there - endless photo ops ;). You chose a lovely composition! Tell Adam I'm wearing a digital watch because I can't read the watch either ;)).

Fab find and shot, I like that two are facing in the other direction. Harry home on study leave but I don't see much studying going on....eeeek!!

An hour to check the answers?! No way could I finish a maths exam in an hour too little. Methinks the boy's done ok...
May 21st, 2013
@judithg Yes please!
May 21st, 2013
That's so cool. :)
May 21st, 2013
great fun shot - bottoms up! I seem to remember I did the same thing in my maths GCSE!!
May 21st, 2013
I love it -- the smaller ducks are shy of cameras so they've turned their backs. I don't recommend rescuing something that belongs to the Dept of Criminology.

@fueast You are way too young to remember the favored style of cool guys at my high school.
May 21st, 2013
What a lovely photo, I love the way you can clearly see the rocks underneath the water
May 21st, 2013
this is a lovely shot, bottoms an all.
May 21st, 2013
@jewelsandbinoculars I should actually have said 'an hour to CORRECT the answers'!
May 21st, 2013
Love it. Great pov and very cute little rubber duckies.
May 21st, 2013
Love the colour in the pebbles.
May 21st, 2013
@fueast love it! @judithg I take it Mr. Monty wasn't with you. Aren't these made out of hoop material?!?
May 21st, 2013
judith ..we all know about 'ducks' in nottingham....people call each other duck !!!....a gr8 composition with lovely bokeh and almost abstract patterns in the foreground.

If you wanted to go really artistic / minimalistic / abstract you could crop a couple of inches off the top of the image so the ducks bodies disappear ...leaving just the reflections in the frame with the fab foreground....Just my opinion :)
May 21st, 2013
Cute shot, little ones are often going the opposite direction.
May 22nd, 2013
Love the pov and reflections. I also like they the baby ducks are facing away. Adds interest :)
May 22nd, 2013
sweet! makes me smile
also reminds me of a hotel I stayed at in Winchester years ago which had a lovely big bathtub and they provided a family of rubber ducks for guests to use in the bath - and I did!
May 22nd, 2013
Love it! Fav for me! Count me in for coffee at some point too :)
May 22nd, 2013
