Up early to send Adam off to school - not sure why I bother as he sorts himself out and I barely see him but somehow I feel I should! And anyway I then had to get Monty to the vet sharpish to sort out his poor little suppurating feet. That gave me the day to don my decorating clothes and crack on with the downstairs loo. All went pretty well until I opened the shower cubicle and realised that it needed a very good scrub and in the process of doing that I scratched half of the paint off below the cubicle and had to do it again. Half way through the painting process I managed to let out a plaintive yell which brought Rachel running and she wasn't best pleased to discover that in the process of reaching up from the skirting to dampen a cloth I had run cold water up my sleeve and then - somehow it ran all the way down my back!
Three GT:
1. The room looks brighter and fresher.
2. I don't have to do it tomorrow (plenty more jobs lined up though!)
3. Monty is home and fine - sore looking toes which have to be bathed for 10 min daily - that's going to be a laugh and a half.
PS A poppy from yesterday - too painty to get the camera out today.
I can just imagine all that cold water running down your arm...I know it was warm today but brrrr! Sounds like you are just as organised as me doing jobs!!
Beautiful focus here belies your rushed day....so very pretty!
I don't envy you the bathing...another job!
That reminds me why I never start painting!!! Lovely sprightly looking poppy, ours are all desiccated now! All 3 of mine back to school tomorrow - hallelujah!!
Love this single poppy - nice POV! Are mites the same as ticks? Poor Monty - hope he doesn't get them again! You are very good to do that painting! I have never even tried and don't intend to start!
Delightful poppy shot! Get well soon Monty - even eating dinner doesn't take ten minutes for a dog, sorry can't think of anything helpful to distract him.
Just looking at trains for next week. Are you still up or meeting? What suits you best - evening of the 12th or afternoon of the 13th. I probably need to leave about 4pm I think. Last time I escaped by lunch although I haven't heard from them with a time for the meeting.

I did laugh at the water story! Enjoy admiring your efforts!
