Having been too idle to get my camera out during our 'bracing' walk at The Gogs this morning I was lucky that @lucypics donated Saski to me. She was cold and wet and I'm sure she really appreciated Lucy's knitwear even though she does look rather embarrassed.
Four GT:
1. Finally making a date with Mrs Doolittle - we were made of stirling stuff - it was torrential a one point.
2. Malteser cake from the farm shop.
3. Lovely comments and favs on my recent pics - it's been keeping my motivation going. I am still working on the family calendar so I haven't had a lot of time to reciprocate - I am very sorry.
4. Fred Sanger RIP. Double Nobel Prize winner, father of my research field and very modest genius. Died today at the age of 95 - 'a good innings'.
@fueast I think you'll find she was very glad of that! She shot to the back of the boot when Lucy reopened it with a 'Don't make me walk' look on her face. I made Monty do the walk in his coat - he gave me the sort of look all the way round that I get from Adam when I suggest he put a hat on.
LOL - such a funny sweet shot! Saski has got that "I hope I don't see my friends while I'm wearing this" look on her face! Sounds like a great day, despite getting drenched @lucypics - you 2 are hardcore! : ))
I thought I recognised Saski from the photo on trending, then opened it and thought I was wrong when I saw your name instead of @lucypics !

@rosiekind@fueast@pistonbroke@vernabeth@maggiemae@suesmith just thought I would just let you all know that although Saski looks a bit fed up! I can assure you she was very grateful to be warmed up. She was worried that she was going to be made to get back out of the car into the driving rain! Unlike her pal Monty! she went out in the driving rain with nothing but her sleek coat so when we got back to the car she was cold. She now has a fleecy jacket on order so won't have to borrow my scarf again.
@fueast You have to be careful what you wish for! You'd better get Poppy something warm to wear ;0) @lucypics We are off the hook - it was hailing - that counts as a blizzard!
@fueast perhaps!! Usually she doesn't mind but it really was bitter and we were caught in an absolute downpour. (Don't know why I felt so sorry for Saski, I was drenched from my dunking). You got snow?
@jantan@lucypics only a few weeks till my annual Christmas hatted Monty photo :0) And if you ever get a dog with blotting paper for a coat you'll get it a waterproof!
