So I just asked Adam to help me chose between to different crops and he said, 'Oh, did you struggle today?' Thanks mate. Well I blew a beautiful day with no dog interference by accidentally over-exposing lots of shots. I quite like the over-exposure here though - I walked to town and back as I am missing the exercise and when I don't have the dog with me I can walk home over the Bridge of Sighs at St John's - it's not a bad route.
I'm off out with Nigel shortly to look at some of the lights that are around town for the e-luminate festival - better check the camera settings.
Three GT:
1. Massacre of teddies this evening but at least he hasn't started on his bed.
2. A beautiful and blowy day to dry up the ground a bit before it gets drenched again.
3. Getting excited about Paris and the prospect of meeting Helene.
Wow -- accidental overexposure?? This looks so well planned. Fav instantly for the gorgeous tones, balance of lines and shape, and overall composition.
This looks perfect - really emphasises the arch. You're off to Paris again?! Lucky thing - must get myself over there - Alexander's going on a school trip in a couple of weeks and I keep threatening to gatecrash it
Very beautiful perspective and the slight overexposure works just fine. You're going to Paris? Awesome! By the way, we'll be in London on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of March, if you want to meet. I can email you my cell phone number because I'm really not sure when we will be where (also depending on weather conditions).
Stunning! I love the abundance of light...it works perfectly in this shot. I thought I had read a mention of a return to Paris and I forgot to comment on it. And so wonderful that you'll be meeting up with Helene. I have a feeling there's no one who knows Paris better than she.
