Down the lens... by judithg

Down the lens...

This afternoon I found myself sitting in the garden in the sunshine with a book by my side, a dog on my lap and cat determined not to miss out on the action. I was armed with camera with a view to taking photos of our feathered visitors (unfortunately shooting in to the light so disappointing) which meant I could catch Rafiki heading over to sort us out.
Five GT:
1. I have cleaned out the drainage channels in our driveway (quite hideously blocked) - it's a glamorous life.
2. Rafiki walked across Monty's back to find a spare place to sit and he didn't notice.
3. The lilies that I thought were duffs because they took so long to open are now making a spectacular display.
4. Skyping Rachel and Penny.
5. @happypat is back :0)
beautiful!

Fav - just because it made me go Oh WOW - think it's the vibrant sunny colours!
I thought you'd mistyped duffs for daffs - but I realise you hadn't! Yes, have missed @happypat

Ah Judith I am touched & honoured to be a Good Thing...thank you. Amazing thing to think you are sitting outside with a book...just does my head in to think you all think it's warm!!!!
Love the effect of Rafikis eyes.....such a contrast to the usual fully dilated pupil they usually have. sweet nose! Must check out Montys progress ...seems like he is improving!

@happypat That's the winter sun dilemma! It always takes me about two weeks to acclimatise from coming back from somewhere with nicer weather - the worst ever was coming back from Kenya in January. I think I spent the best part of a month wearing four pairs of socks and a duvet.
