I knew it would be fatal writing a smug 'good thing' about liking my recent photos as I promptly lost my mojo. Nigel and I took Monty to Waresley Wood yesterday morning and immediately took the wrong path. After quite a hike we doubled back almost to the car and took the 'other' turn to embark on another hike to the bluebells only to find that they will be at their peak in another week (or maybe midweek - not sure).
Three good things:
1. I found one bluebell that was 'ready'.
2. Instead of having an afternoon nap I rallied myself to jet clean the garden furniture, found a can of paint was actually still in good condition (and nearly full) and repainted the arbour. Sadly I couldn't finish because I need a different colour and the only shops that sell the paint close on Saturday lunchtimes - I've never understood that - when do people do DIY?!
3. A nice message on Sunday if you get chance to look at the weary photo I took!
one bluebell is all you need Judith. I always have an urge to put an 'e' on the end of bluebelle ... i rambled on about it in previous pics of bluebelles back in the early years of 365 :)
