I've spent the whole day doing interesting governor jobs so my photo is of the lavender plants that border the path to the school entrance. The plants are at their peak and the bees are busy and buzzy.
Four GT:
1. Rachel and her friends walked the dog for me and had a nice time doing it.
2. A thunder storm has broken the increasing humidity - I think there may be another one to come.
3. Adam is not soluble or he would have dissolved getting home from the bus stop.
4. Adam's school trip today was supposed to be to the seed bank at Wakehurst Place but the coach driver took them to Kew Gardens by mistake (quite funny as Adam kept saying, 'We are going to London' and I kept saying, 'No you're going to Sussex' and the coach driver was obviously on his side). They cut their losses and had a lovely day at Kew.
How very odd, going to Kew instead of the proper place made me laugh, hope the driver won't get in trouble!
Monty would love having some fun young things to take him for his walk.. hope he kept up. Lavender is so beautiful & it would be lovely edging the paths....bees round your legs!
Beautiful colours and great dof. Your lavender is more advanced than mine, we still haven't any rain though. Infact, I should be watering my pots right now....
@happypat Well it is confusing as it's the Kew Gardens seed bank at Wakehurst Place - but apparently they did ask for Wakehurst Place - I'm guessing it happens quite a bit - they need to not mention Kew!
This is really beautiful! Haha, that confused driver makes a great story. But Kew Gardens is a great place to go from what I've heard - we wanted to go back in March but didn't have the time. Next time then (plus a visit to cambridge, of course!)
@jannaellen I went to Kew on my mat leave year - it is beautiful (not cheap to get in, mind) but pathetically the treetop walk made my legs rather wobbly and it was quite an effort to get round!
