Great St Mary's church, which is the university church and defines the centre of Cambridge, has undergone some major renovation. It now has some glass doors which keep out the cold and general hubbub while still appearing to be open. Undergraduates have to live within 3 miles of GSM and university officers within 20. I've no idea if anybody polices that.
I notice that Monty and I appear twice and look quite different each time - I did wonder briefly if somebody else with a red coat and a spaniel were standing behind me. I took a few shots but chose this one because of the bicycle(s) - not sure if they are one and the same.
