I took M and camera down to Jesus Green yesterday having been alerted by @wordpixman's photo that the 'Afloat' artwork was on the river. I took a couple of shots of ducks standing on it that I liked but in the end they were all overthrown by trees and a man. There were really high tightrope wire things up in the trees and I was hoping our resident tightrope walker would stop chatting to his mates and give it a go but instead he packed up and went home. I took my car to the garage again - third time in three weeks - it's been throwing faults ever since it was serviced. It has to go back for three days at half term so they can check the wiring which I suspect was dislodged during the service. In the meantime I had a phone message asking if I'd like to view the new model - not feeling very favourable towards VW at the mo so didn't take them up on it.
Those trees are truly magnificent.....the size & scale are awesome made even better with the scale of the chap walking. @sparkle is very quiet......hope she is OK ...doubt she is in wifi signal though. Hope she is in Tibet then.....she is a worry!
I am such a sucker for these strongly composed shots... you did a great job with this. Excellent composition, symmetry, repetition and leading lines... bonus for the little red runner in the distance.
