Chelsea Buns by judithg

Chelsea Buns

That's not a euphemism - Fitzbillies Cafe specialises in them. A rather slow start this morning after last night's excitement and then we rearranged my office area to make it more 'new sofa friendly' - not that we'll get it for a few weeks and we still have the piano in situ. Nigel swept leaves and mowed the lawn while I tidied my desk - two chores that are equally demanding. I took Monty in to town, feeling after the success of my bridge photo that I really should make more effort to photograph the town but the day was incredibly dull and a slightly depressing start to GMT. Chelsea buns guaranteed to brighten the day though - good job for my diet (such as it is) that I had the dog in tow and couldn't go in.
A few too many Chelsea buns consumed here already! They do look good though & hard to resist........you do lots of walking....would burn a Chelsea bun off in no time!

Did you have to mention leaves and tidying? Neither of which I tackled today. Went for a walk and the cinema instead. Much better :-)

Great candid, nicely composed. Nothing like a cake on a dreary day.
