Being introduced as a puppy to a garden with cats and squirrels seemed to distort Monty's personal identity. I've tried to catch him a few times up our apple tree. He goes up there a lot but whenever I go out he jumps down because he is generally barking and, therefore, in trouble. Today he humoured me by shooting up this tree - I was torn between being pleased about the shot and worrying that there was going to be a big, dirty and possibly painful splash if he fell off.
Ah bless him he's turned into a squirrel !! This is such a cute shot & I have never seen a climbing dog before ..is there no end to Monty's talents !!!
lol, great shot, nicely captured - nice to be introduced to Monty. Does he normally hurt himself falling off?
(my sister had a lurcher that climbed - when lodged at my parents, their cat decided outbuilding roof was the place to go and sit safely, to be seen looking devastated shortly afterwards when the lurcher had found a way up and was walking along the roof towards the cat)
@jgpittenger@phil_howcroft@fueast@shanne@lbmcshutter I leave him to his own deices to get down so that it's not my fault when he gets all excited and falls off! He's landed awkwardly once or twice in the garden (when he was younger) but he ended up a long way up on this one - a huge vet bill was flashing before my eyes!!
