Today I played with my lens. I have four different lens and I took four different pictures of this box. It's nothing special, and I was just playing around.
@houser934 I kept each lens at 1/125. With the 50mm lens, my ISO was at 400. With all the other lenses, I had to bump it up to 1600. I see all these sharp as a tack focus pictures, and I am trying to get there. I've had my camera for two years and I feel like I am growing rather slowly. Sometimes I "feel" like I nail a shot, other times I think I just get lucky. I DEFINITELY need to slow down and consider all the settings. I guess this experiment is part of trying to figure it all out. Thanks for asking or else I would not have done as much reflection on what happened with the lenses. This picture was taken with the kit lens, and it was comparable to the 50mm shot.
