Last week we went to our favorite restaurant. In addition to our meal, I ordered a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin for my husband and I to share. When we finished our meal, we got the check and saw the muffin in our order. HOWEVER, we never received the muffin, so we asked the waitress to take it off our tab and told her we were ok without it. Today we visited the restaurant again. By happenstance, we got the same waitress. When we finished our meal, she asked if we were the ones who ordered a muffin that we never got. We said yes and laughed about it. To our surprise and delight, she brought us a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin at no charge. What a blessing! Said muffin is pictured in front.
What a great story. If only more people were as kind as your waitress. That said, this photo should come with a warning about the calories you probably ingest just by looking at it. Wonderful shot and, I am sure, a delicious dessert.
