Semicolon tattoo; hope is alive

I would like to support and bring the awareness of this tattoo in hoping that we could notice more about people around us and do what we can.

WHO reports that one in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives. Around 450 million people currently suffer from such conditions, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide.

Project Semicolon is a faith-based non-profit that encourages and supports people with depression, addiction, and thoughts of self-injury or suicide.

“[a] semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life.”

Since its beginning in 2013, Project Semicolon has gained worldwide attention and support, with the semicolon tattoo spreading in solidarity.

Project Semicolon does not offer a direct helpline, but instead brings those battling depression together through their inspirational messages, blogs, and other resources.
Thanks for following; following back. Thanks for the explanation on the semicolon tattoo.

Really like the way the bold, simple design of the semicolon draws the focus to it and away from anything else in the picture. Beautiful sentiment.
