Elaeocarpus reticulatus is an endemic tree native to Australia. The flowers come in white and pink. The pink one is called Prima Donna.
Commonly knows as Blueberry Ash because it produces many small blue berries about 1cm in diameter after flowering. The fruits are edible but are not palatable. If you are lost in the bush you may survive by eating the nuts, which are said to contain carbohydrates and some proteins.
