I was listening to a tape on "Walking in Love" by Joyce Meyer and she said -- how do you treat something of great value in your house -- like a family heirloom? You protect it, you take special care of it. We should treat the people in our life that same way that we love. We need to protect them, and treat them with care -- being careful with our words, our tone, our actions. So I made this and pinned it up in the house so I can see it to remind myself that my kids are fragile and need special care. I want to be careful how I speak to them and treat them because they are so valuable.
I love it! Thank you for the lesson. I need to keep this in mind also. Sometimes I catch myself not doing so with my students. I think I might have to do the same thing that you did.
It amazes me the way that God talks to us. I am thankful that he handles us with care and treasures us.
