Teton Homestead

In all honesty, I found very little pleasure in photographing the grand scale iconic scenes of the American West that millions of people have seen and already photographed. I had more fun just gaping in wonder. Photos are so pitifully inadequate.
i would be overawed as well i think

I know that feeling well! I've mostly stopped trying to bother with landscape shots in Teton and Yellowstone. There's just something about those places... they're too big for my lens!

You and Carissa have voiced it well - do hope to make it to the Tetons next year.

I know the feeling of inadequacy when faced with some of these vast landscapes. We are currently in Norway, and I feel like that when gazing at some of the vistas. This is a great shot Julie.

I know what you mean, sometimes your camera just can't do the scene justice! But this is still a lovely shot

Saw this on TP. The sense of space and scale is so well captured. Would love to live there! fav
