@dutchothotmailcom Thanks, Esther! I discovered it by accident this past spring. I don't know what YouTube said, but all I do is set my camera to 8/10 of a second (TV - Time Value on my Canon) and twist it just slightly to the left (or right) while pressing the shutter button. Very simply done! Hope you have fun with it! I want to try some more shots with something in the middle, but that takes a little more practice. Ha ha! :)
