I walked through a field of calves this morning, a variety of types and ages. The funny thing was that they followed me en masse and it was like a game of "What's the time Mr Wolf" - every time I turned my back they advanced a bit closer and when I turned round they all stood stock still until I turned my back again. Eventually they were right up close - slobbering and snorting with curiosity, excitement and apprehension! They were very comical.
