From High Ham towards Pitney Wood

This view is similar to this on http://365project.org/julienne1/365/2015-01-22 taken in January and this one http://365project.org/julienne1/365/2015-05-11 taken in May. It's interesting to see the changes over the last two months - the new spring growth having filled out on the trees and many of the fields with the browner tones of cropped grassland. The field in which I am standing is part of Eastfield Nature Reserve in my village of High Ham and the grass there has been left to allow the wild flowers and the wildlife to grow undisturbed until much later in the year.
Lovely view!

This is so lovely - and an interesting comparison with the two previous shots you posted. The colors are just lush right now.

It is such a good idea to do repeat pictures - the changes are surprising and we take them for granted when they are not recorded. So lush and green now

Brilliant landscape Julienne - I just love all the different tones and textures. The contrast of the dry grasses in the foreground really works so well!
