I disturbed this little roe buck on a path on Shapwick Heath early this morning. He stood and stared at me for a long time, and then calmly trotted on along the path in front of me for maybe 100 yards while I followed. Then he turned to look at me again as if to register his disapproval that I was still there and pranced off into the woods.
